Kymenlaakson Opisto will organise free digital training for immigrants at its Hamina campus in autumn. The training will be held on Fridays from 21.8.-25.9. at 9.30-14.00 and will be conducted as a face-to-face course.
During the training, participants will learn how to use a computer, understand the basics of information security and how to use the internet in everyday life. The training will also support online job search and strengthen computer vocabulary skills.
The course is suitable for learners of different levels. Good Finnish language skills are not required, but participants should be able to manage basic everyday tasks without an interpreter. The training is provided jointly by a Finnish language teacher and a digital skills teacher.
The training is free of charge for the participants and is funded by Google. Register by 14 August!
