A free training course entitled ‘Eteenpäin, SuperMimmi!’ will start at Kotka Adult Education Centre on 21 September. The course is aimed at unemployed jobseekers who are no longer in the integration period, as well as migrant women who are outside the labour market.

The course covers the Finnish language and digital skills, practises everyday situations in Finnish, and introduces participants to Finnish society. The aim of the programme is to strengthen the skills needed for working life, job-seeking, training and study, and to support participants in finding their own path towards working life.

The course also offers personalised guidance on applying for jobs and study places. The course is free of charge for participants.

Similar training programmes aimed at migrant women were also opened for applications earlier this autumn at the Kouvola adult education centre and at the Hamina campus of Kymenlaakso adult education centre.
