The Warm Lights Film Fest will feature films from Sri Lanka, Finland, Germany and Brazil. This free film event will take place at the Vellamo Maritime Centre on Saturday and Sunday, 31 October–1 November 2026.
The films will be screened in their original languages with English subtitles. The event is open to everyone and admission to the screenings is free.
Between screenings, there will also be ‘snack & mingle’ sessions where you can meet new people and discuss the films. A free advance ticket is required for these sessions, available from the information desks at Vellamo or Xamk’s Kotka campus, or via the Kide app.
The event is organised by the Integration Services at Xamk’s Kotka campus and the Vellamo Maritime Centre. Further information about the event can be found on the organisers’ websites.
