The KymiUnited project invites immigrants aged 18-29 from all over Kymenlaakso to a day trip to Verla on Tuesday 9.6.2026 at 10-15 am.

Verla is a world heritage site. It is an old factory site that is well preserved and an important part of Finnish history.

– guided tour of the old wood mill and cardboard factory
– walk through beautiful rapids
– visit the exhibitions
– creative workshops
– Eat a picnic lunch together

The tour is free of charge. The organiser provides transport, departing from the Kotka area from the Maritime Centre Vellamo.

The excursion is organised by the KymiUnited project. The project supports the well-being and integration of young adult immigrants and increases cooperation between museums in Kymenlaakso. The activities are especially aimed at people who are not in employment or education.

Please sign up for the trip by Tuesday 2.6.2026 at the link below.
